LEC Season Finals and EMEA Masters Summer Finals to be held jointly in Montpellier this autumn

Riot Games to Host EMEA Masters Summer Finals and LEC Season Finals in Montpellier

Riot Games has made an exciting announcement today that for the first time, it will be hosting the EMEA Masters Summer Finals and the LEC Season Finals together. The event will take place at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier, Occitanie. From Sept. 8 to 10, European fans of League of Legends will have the opportunity to attend the competitions and the LEC XPO.

This is a significant moment for the EMEA region as Riot Games brings together the LEC Season Finals, EMEA Masters Summer Finals, and the LEC XPO all under one roof. The three-day event in September will showcase the competitive scene of League of Legends in the EMEA region, from the national Regional Leagues to the supranational LEC.

The event will kick off on Sept. 8 with the EMEA Masters Summer Finals, followed by the LEC Season Finals lower bracket semifinal on the next day. The grand finals will take place on Sept. 10.

The EMEA Masters is an essential part of League of Legends’ competitive ecosystem, providing players from the ERL with an opportunity to showcase their talent at an international level. The combination of these two events will offer fans a glimpse into the next generation of talent from the EMEA region, as stated by Maximilian Peter Schmidt, director of League esports EMEA.

Tickets for the event will be available starting June 19, allowing fans to not only watch the finals but also explore the LEC XPO. Following a successful first LEC XPO in Malmö last year, Riot Games is bringing back the opportunity for the community to interact with partners and teams.

More information about this upcoming event will be revealed in the future. Stay tuned, League of Legends fans!
