LEC newcomer achieves double-digit KDA in 2023 Summer Season

Fnatic’s Rookie Player Finishes 2023 LEC Summer Season on Top

The 2023 LEC Summer Season concluded on July 3 with an outstanding performance from rookie player Oh “Noah” Hyeon-taek. Noah achieved an incredible KDA ratio of 22.2 according to League of Legends stat site Oracle’s Elixir. His AD carry teammate, Trymbi, also had an impressive performance with a 6.8 KDA.

Noah’s success is even more remarkable considering it was his first season in the LEC. The 21-year-old joined Fnatic in June, replacing Rekkles. He previously played for Zero Tenacity and KT Rolster’s main and academy teams.

Noah’s Dominance and Impact on Fnatic

During the 2023 LEC Summer Season, Noah had the fewest deaths out of all players who participated in all nine games. He only died five times. In comparison, KOI’s Larssen had 12 deaths in the first part of the summer split.

Noah’s performance has greatly contributed to Fnatic’s success. After disappointing Winter and Spring Splits without playoffs qualification, the team finished second in the 2023 LEC Summer Season with a 7-2 score. Their only losses were against first-placed G2 Esports and SK Gaming.

What’s Next for Fnatic

In the 2023 LEC Summer Groups, Fnatic is placed in Group B and will have a rematch against SK in their opening matchup. The European competition will resume on July 15 after a one-week break.
