LEC caster Medic not under contract with Riot Games anymore

LEC Caster Medic’s Contract with Riot Ends

League of Legends caster Medic announced today that his contract with Riot is officially up. Medic has been a part of the LEC broadcast since 2017 when he joined after his time in the EU Challenger Series.

Looking for New Opportunities

In a tweet, Medic expressed his openness to offers during the offseason. While he would love to work with the LEC again next year, contract negotiations have not yet begun. Fans will have to wait and see if their favorite casters will return for the 2021 season.

A Year of Success for LEC Broadcast

Despite the challenges of 2020, the LEC broadcast has been successful. The duo of MediVedi, consisting of Medic and Vedius, has become a core part of the LEC caster desk. Fans hope to see them continue their dynamic in 2021.

Like Froskurinn, Medic has been freelancing for Riot this year. He has appeared in the Northern League of Legends Championship and regularly streams on his personal channel.
