League’s next update features the triumphant return of Kassadin from the Void

Kassadin Receives Buffs in League of Legends Season 12

Kassadin, the champion in League of Legends season 12, has been struggling to stay relevant in the roam-heavy meta. However, Riot Games has been monitoring his performance and have decided to give him some much-needed buffs.

In Patch 12.23, Kassadin’s Null Sphere will receive a shield the moment he casts it. Previously, he had to wait for the sphere to leave his hand before getting the shield. Additionally, the shield will be slightly increased by 20 across all ranks. However, to prevent Kassadin from becoming overpowered, the shield’s AP ratio will be reduced from 40% to 30%.

The biggest change for Kassadin in the upcoming patch is that his Force Pulse will no longer be tied to nearby spell casts. Instead, it will have its own cooldown that will be decreased by one second with nearby spell casts.

Furthermore, Riot has brought back Rod of Ages in Patch 12.21. The item remains relatively the same as before but now heals more frequently and provides movement speed for two seconds. This change benefits battle mages and DPS mages who thrive in the late game.

These buffs, along with the return of Rod of Ages, aim to help Kassadin in the dominant roaming meta and allow him to reach his power spike sooner.
