New Eternals Series Coming to League of Legends
League of Legends players will soon have a new series of Eternals to explore. Riot Games announced today that they will be adding a new set of champion-specific achievements to the game, almost three years after the launch of the first series of Eternals.
The first series of Eternals in League of Legends was met with mixed reviews when it was introduced in 2020. While players were excited about the addition of stat-tracking and achievement hunting, the fact that Eternals came at a cost turned off some players. The full Eternals Series One pass was priced at 5,850 RP, equivalent to about $50.
The Eternals Series Two pass will cost even more at 6,400 RP, according to Riot. This increase in price can be attributed to the addition of new champion releases since the launch of the first Eternals in March 2020. In total, 14 new champions have been added to the game since then.
The Eternals Series Two pass will include a new set of Eternals for all existing champions, as well as any future releases.
Over time, acquiring Eternals has become easier for players. Individual Eternals shards for champions can now be obtained through the Hextech Crafting interface. Common Eternals, which track various in-game achievements, can be purchased with Blue Essence.
If you missed out on the first pass for Eternals Series One, don’t worry. Starting tomorrow, Nov. 17, you will have the opportunity to purchase it at a discounted price of 2,340 RP. The sale will last until Dec. 1.
The pass for Eternals Series Two will also go on sale next year, with a 30% discount applied on Feb. 16 for a limited time.
Eternals Series Two will be launching on the live League servers tomorrow, Nov. 17, at 3pm CT.
