League veteran and former Fnatic star, Febiven, announces retirement at 24

Febiven, 7-Year Veteran of League of Legends, Retires at Age 24

Febiven, a veteran player in the popular game League of Legends, announced his retirement today at the age of 24. He made this announcement on Twitter, stating that he is stepping away from the professional scene.

Prior to the 2021 season, Febiven joined Fnatic’s secondary roster, Fnatic Rising. However, he did not get the opportunity to play in any official matches this season. In the previous year, he had played in 40 contests with Misfits. Throughout his career, Febiven competed in a total of 420 games and achieved a 56 percent win rate.

Memorable Moments and Achievements

During the 2015 season, Febiven experienced great success with Fnatic. In his first split as a professional player, he helped lead the team to the semifinals of the Mid-Season Invitational. Later that same year, Fnatic achieved a perfect 18-0 record in the Summer Split of the EU LCS and reached the semifinals of the World Championship.

Febiven’s most notable performances were on control mage champions such as Azir, Xerath, and Orianna. His proficiency with these champions earned him high recognition as a mid laner.

A Distinguished Career

Throughout his career, Febiven also played for other organizations, including H2K and Misfits in Europe, and Clutch Gaming in North America for one season. His retirement marks the end of a successful career for one of the strongest multi-region players in the history of western League of Legends.
