League player employs Neeko clone to deceive opponent, secures independent kill

League of Legends Player Outwits Opponent for Solo Kill

In the popular game League of Legends, a solo kill requires more than just brute force and skill. Sometimes, it takes strategy and clever thinking to come out on top in a one-on-one fight.

In a recent Reddit post, a player showcased their clever use of Neeko’s abilities to secure a solo kill against their opponent using patience and trickery.

In the clip, the Neeko player was retreating from an enemy Sion and decided to recall in a bush once they reached the top lane. As the Sion player approached the bush, the Neeko player quickly made a decision to use their abilities on the Sion before creating a clone of themselves with Shapesplitter (W).

The two Neekos went in different directions, with the clone going into a bush on the blue side of Summoner’s Rift and the original champion moving towards the red side. The Sion player hesitated and headed towards the cloned Neeko, giving the actual player enough time to recall in the opposite bush.

However, once the Sion player caught wind of the plan, the Neeko player had to change their strategy. They decided to abandon their recall and focus on earning a solo kill. As the Sion approached the bush where the Neeko was hiding, they were surprised by the Neeko’s charged up Pop Blossom (R). With a quick cast of Blooming Burst (Q), the Neeko player secured the kill on Sion.

But there was still one problem to deal with – Sion’s passive, Glory in Death. To buy time, the Neeko player used Zhonya’s Hourglass and Hextech Protobelt to delay Sion’s advance. With the help of a Jhin player’s Deadly Flourish (W), the Neeko player was able to survive the encounter with Sion.

This play showcases the importance of strategy and quick thinking in securing solo kills in League of Legends.
