League of Legends Champion Balance Updates Revealed for Patch 12.8

Riot Games has announced the upcoming champion balance updates for League of Legends. The first round of changes for Patch 12.8 will be implemented on Wednesday, April 27.

A total of 16 champions will receive buffs in Patch 12.8, while six champions will be nerfed and adjusted. This patch aims to increase the power of champions in all five roles across the Rift. The changes will specifically target three top lane champions, three jungle champions, five mid lane champions, three AD carries, and two supports.

The Riot developers have confirmed that Patch 12.8 will be the patch for this year’s MSI (Mid-Season Invitational) in South Korea. The live patch currently in effect, Patch 12.7, will set the gears in motion for MSI, which begins on May 10.

More details about Patch 12.8 will be released later this week in Riot’s traditional expanded patch preview. The patch is scheduled to go live on April 27.
