League of Legends Patch 11.16 Preview: Nerfs for Tahm Kench & Diana
The League of Legends gameplay design team has provided a sneak peek of the changes coming to the game in Patch 11.16. This upcoming patch will bring significant alterations to the champions on the roster, with 15 champions set to be modified. Out of these, seven champions will receive substantial nerfs.
One particularly noteworthy champion receiving nerfs in Patch 11.16 is Tahm Kench. He has been thriving in the professional League scene lately, not only as a support pick but also in the top and middle lanes.
Diana, who has also been receiving significant attention in both professional play and solo queue since her jungle buffs in Patch 11.8, will also face nerfs in the upcoming update. According to Games of Legends, a League stats site, Diana has been picked 181 times in professional games worldwide on the current patch, which is the highest among all jungle champions.
Other champions joining the nerf list in Patch 11.16 include Fiora, Lulu, Ziggs, Xin Zhao, and Lee Sin. The latter two have been seeing plenty of playtime in the jungle recently.
The official League of Legends patch schedule has confirmed that Patch 11.16 will go live on August 11.
