League Patch 10.22 introduces nerfs to Samira, Zed, Lulu top, and Karthus by Riot.

Riot Games Announces Nerfs for League of Legends Patch 10.22

Riot Games has revealed their plans for the upcoming Patch 10.22 in League of Legends. This update will include nerfs for four champions: Samira, Zed, Lulu, and Karthus.

Nerfs for Samira: A Relief for Bottom Laners

Bottom laners will be pleased to hear that Samira is receiving significant nerfs to her kit. Riot’s gameplay design lead, Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, states that her power has been steadily increasing as players become more skilled at utilizing her explosive ability combos.

Nerfs for Zed: Bringing Balance to the Mid Lane

Zed, the dominant mid lane champion in the “skilled” ranks (Platinum IV to Grandmaster), will also be receiving some nerfs to bring him in line. With a ban rate of 40 percent, Zed is currently the most banned mid laner, as reported by U.GG.

Nerfs for Lulu and Karthus: Curbing Their Power

Lulu, who has gained popularity in the top lane among skilled players, will see some adjustments to reduce her effectiveness as a solo laner. As for Karthus, he will be receiving nerfs to decrease his impact in Challenger games, where he currently holds the second-highest win rate among junglers.
