League officially confirms Pulsefire Shen, Twisted Fate, and Riven for release

Riot Announces Three New Pulsefire Skins for League of Legends

Riot made an exciting announcement on Twitter today, revealing that the Pulsefire skin series will be expanded with three new champions. Joining Pulsefire Ezreal and Caitlyn, the original recipients of these futuristic skins, are Pulsefire Shen, Twisted Fate, and Riven (source).

The skins, showcased in in-game footage on the Riot Germany Twitter account, continue the same vibrant blue color scheme, impressive laser effects, and sound design reminiscent of ’80s sci-fi dystopias seen in the original skins.

Expanding the Lineup

What makes these additions even more exciting is that they mark the first time non-marksmen champions have been included in the Pulsefire skin line. This brings the total number of Pulsefire skins to five, more than double the previous amount all at once (Riot’s 2018 mission).

In terms of skins, these champions already have an extensive collection, with a combined total of 23 skins, including Legacy skins. If you’re looking for alternative cosmetic options for Shen, Riven, or Twisted Fate, you already have quite a few choices.

Details and Release

Riot has yet to release full information about these new skins, including their feature lists and prices. The skins are not available on the PBE (Public Beta Environment) at the moment but are expected to be added later this week when Patch 8.9 goes live on Wednesday.
