League of Legends Welcomes Samira on September 16

Earn your style points with Samira in League of Legends

Samira, the Desert Rose, the highly anticipated 151st champion in League, is ready to make her debut on Summoner’s Rift. Riot Games announced that she will be released in Patch 10.19 on Sept. 16, just a month after the release of Yasuo’s brother Yone.

A unique champion with diverse abilities

Samira has an incredibly diverse kit that includes a style rating system on her passive, Daredevil Impulse, which directly interacts with her ultimate ability, Inferno Trigger. Her W ability, Blade Whirl, is an AoE ability that can destroy incoming missiles, making it a valuable tool against ranged opponents in the bot lane.

The potential for magic damage in her kit

While Samira’s E ability, Wild Rush, deals magic damage along with her passive when she hits opponents with her sword, she is likely to scale with attack damage. With her significant gap-closing and safeguarding abilities on her E and W, she is expected to be a formidable presence in the bot lane and may even have the potential to be played in the mid lane.

Players will have to wait and see where this unique champion ends up when she joins Summoner’s Rift later this month.
