Twitch Rivals Returns with Another League of Legends Tournament
Twitch Rivals is back with another thrilling League of Legends tournament, featuring some of the most popular streamers in the community. A total of 60 streamers, including Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp and Imane “Pokimane” Anys, will compete in a round robin tournament for a cash prize pool. However, this time, the tournament will have a unique twist.
A New Tournament Format
The tournament will kick off on Wednesday at 11am CT. Unlike previous events, where players formed dedicated teams, this time the streamers will switch teams for each match. They have been divided into two divisions: Noxus and Demacia. The player in each role with the most wins will advance to the championship match between Noxus and Demacia.
In a recent update, Riot stated that players will earn cash prizes for each game they win, ensuring a fairer competition. While some streamers may not be at the highest ranks in League, everyone will have an opportunity to earn prizes.
During the last Twitch Rivals event in January, the winning team was EZ Clap, which included Pokimane, Revenge, ChaseShaco, xChocoBars, and Natsumiii. Who will come out on top this time?
