Introducing Samira: The Desert Rose
The highly anticipated champion, Samira, also known as the Desert Rose, is finally joining League of Legends today in Patch 10.19. This news was leaked in early August by popular Brazilian content creator, Streamie.
What to Expect from Samira
Back in June, Riot teased players with their Champion Roadmap, hinting at a new marksman character who thrives on danger and utilizes ability combos to overpower enemies and survive. Samira’s unique playstyle sets her apart from other ADCs, as she prefers to dash into the fray.
Samira’s Kit: A Unique Experience
Samira’s abilities provide a fresh and exciting experience for League of Legends players. Her passive, unlike any other champion, rewards skilled gameplay with additional grades, granting bonus effects as the grades increase. The final grade even unlocks her ultimate ability, making it even more powerful.
A Sneak Peek at Samira’s Abilities
In a groundbreaking move, Samira is the first champion in the game to receive an extra ability rather than an emote. Her taunt ability allows her to toss a coin in the direction she’s facing after standing still for three seconds. This coin toss deals minimal damage but rewards the enemy champion with one gold from Samira’s stash. It also triggers her passive, making it a useful initiation tool.
Don’t miss out on the chance to try out Samira, the sword and pistol-wielding bottom laner, on Summoner’s Rift. She promises to bring a whole new dynamic to the game!
