The Worst Designed Champions in League of Legends, According to Players

Yuumi was unsurprisingly the most mentioned champion in the Reddit thread from Sept. 11. The top-voted comment stated, “It’s Yuumi, let’s be honest. Her untargetability is not a good fit for the game.” While Yuumi has been controversial since her release, players were not completely united in their opinions.
Other Champions with Poor Designs
Many comments also highlighted K’Sante and Zeri as champions with lackluster designs. The thread’s author specifically criticized Zeri for her infinite dashes as an ADC, a role that emphasizes high DPS but low mobility.
Zeri and Yuumi, alongside their controversial designs, have dominated competitive play and have been frequently adjusted by the developer. Yuumi even received a rework earlier this year, but players still express dislike for her unique untargetability.
Criticism of K’Sante
K’Sante, mentioned multiple times in the thread’s comments, received criticism primarily due to his overwhelming strength in the game. Players felt that his abilities made him too powerful and lacking in weaknesses.
Since its release in November 2022, K’Sante has consistently dominated League’s meta. The common factor among these three champions is that they lack weaknesses typically associated with their respective roles.
New Champion Update
Meanwhile, the upcoming champion, Briar, appears to be a formidable jungle hunter with high mobility and efficient camp farming abilities. Following adjustments on the Public Beta Environment (PBE), Briar is set to join live servers in Patch 13.18, which is planned for release on Sept. 13.
