Riot Phlox has revealed a range of changes for popular champions in the upcoming League of Legends update. While the buff list is extensive, there are important nerfs for Pyke, Soraka, Jinx, and Xayah, which will impact both professional play and solo queue.
Pyke, known for his menace in the bot lane, has also become a formidable force in the mid lane. In fact, he currently boasts a 54.4% win rate in the mid lane for Platinum and above, making him the highest-performing champion in the game. Soraka has been a thorn in the side of players, with an impressive 53.5% win rate for Platinum and above. Her exceptional healing abilities make teamfights last longer, resulting in a nightmare for opponents.
Looking to the world of professional play, Jinx is also set to receive a nerf in the next patch. She has been a top choice for AD carry players in the 2022 Spring Split as well as in solo queue. Jinx has been the most-played champion across multiple leagues, including LCS, LEC, LCK, and LPL.
