League of Legends Junglers Must Prioritize Spamming This Overpowered Champion Pick in Solo Queue Prior to Patch 13.21

Rammus Emerges as the Strongest Champion in League of Legends Patch 13.20

League of Legends players are always on the lookout for the top picks when a new patch hits. In the case of Patch 13.20, Riot Games made numerous changes that have resulted in a clear frontrunner—the jungle champion, Rammus, who currently holds the highest win rate in the game.

According to U.GG, Rammus boasts an impressive 54 percent win rate among players ranked Platinum and higher, making him the best-performing champion of the patch. Since the update, Rammus has been dominating the solo queue, prompting Riot to issue some nerfs in Patch 13.21.

The recent changes to jungle pets have played a significant role in Rammus’s newfound power. Riot buffed armor scaling on pet damage by 10 percent and increased the shield of Mosstomper. Though Mosstomper lost its tenacity and slow resists, Rammus’s mobility and built-in resistance make up for it.

Thanks to these buffs, Rammus can swiftly move across the map during the early-to-mid game, securing quick ganks for his team. He can also withstand a tremendous amount of damage from both champions and turrets. Once he builds Thornmail, Rammus becomes an unstoppable force, particularly against compositions with high DPS and AD.

Nerfs Incoming for Rammus in Patch 13.21

However, Rammus’s reign may be short-lived as Patch 13.21 is set to introduce nerfs that will significantly reduce his Q damage and W resists. These changes aim to lower his durability and effectiveness as a frontline beast. Players have only a few more days to enjoy Rammus’s dominance before the patch drops on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

So, if you’re a Rammus main, make the most of this time and play as many games as you can while he’s still at the top.
