Dr. Mundo Rework Now Available in League of Legends
The crazy champion, Dr. Mundo, has made his return to the Rift with a fresh new look and revamped abilities. Players can now experience the highly anticipated rework in Patch 11.12 of League of Legends. If you already own Dr. Mundo, you will automatically receive the updated version. Otherwise, you can purchase the champion for 450 BE in the store. Additionally, all of his skins, including both current and Legacy ones, will be available for a limited time.
Despite the changes, Dr. Mundo’s kit still retains its wacky nature and familiar playstyle. However, his abilities have been updated to better align with the current state of the game. While his Q and ultimate abilities remain relatively similar, his W and E have been adjusted to fit the theme of the crazed doctor.
Players who were accustomed to playing the old Dr. Mundo don’t need to worry about drastically changing their playstyle. Although the rework allows for more damage-oriented builds, Mundo’s identity as a resilient, regenerating tank is now more prominent than ever. This will surely result in havoc wreaked in the top lane, jungle, and possibly other lanes as well.
Dr. Mundo is just one of the many champions that have received a rework in League of Legends. According to a poll conducted last year, Udyr is the next champion set to undergo a rework, and it is expected to be released sometime in the coming year.
