Udyr’s Visual Updates Revealed in New YouTube Video
Skin Spotlights recently posted a YouTube video showcasing the upcoming visual updates for Udyr, the forgotten jungler in League of Legends.
Speculations arose within the League of Legends community about the difficulty of updating Udyr due to his multiple forms. However, the successful update and rework of Kayle set the precedent for future updates, making it possible for Udyr as well.
Let’s take a quick look at some of the visual updates to Udyr’s abilities:

Although the visual updates are up to date with modern standards in League of Legends, Udyr’s gameplay remains lackluster. According to op.gg data, he has a low play rate and currently ranks 39th out of 40 picked junglers in the current patch. These visual updates are unlikely to significantly increase his pick rate.
All of Udyr’s skins have also been updated to match the basic visual changes. The VFX updates are set to go live in Patch 10.15, confirmed by Riot’s senior VFX artist, Kevin “Sirhaian” Leroy.
