Pyke in League of Legends Gets an “Among Us” Makeover
Pyke, one of League of Legends’ champions known for his stealthy maneuvers, has received a unique makeover from a devoted fan. Drawing parallels between Pyke’s gameplay and the popular game Among Us, this fan took it upon themselves to replace Pyke’s sound effects with those from Among Us. By incorporating various sounds from different features in Among Us, the fan was able to create an immersive experience that complements Pyke’s slashing and dashing abilities.
In this impressive feat, each of Pyke’s abilities now features a unique sound from Among Us that seamlessly integrates with his kit. For example, Pyke’s Q ability now uses the kill sound effect, while his W ability incorporates a combination of sounds from being voted off on the Polus map, the sample inspection task sound, the venting noise, and the title screen music.
To further enhance the experience, Pyke’s E ability now plays the “round start” music from Among Us, which is typically heard when players find out their assigned roles. Finally, Pyke’s ultimate ability combines several sounds, notably the kill sound and the round end jingle, which signifies either the crewmates’ success in completing their tasks or the impostors’ victory over their opposition.
While these sound effects may not be officially implemented in-game, they seamlessly blend into Pyke’s kit, creating an immersive experience for players. The fan behind this project skillfully pieced together recognizable sounds from Among Us, giving Pyke a fresh and exciting twist.
