League of Legends developers focus on Gragas passive and Yuumi Zoomies as 9 champions receive Patch 13.12 nerfs

League of Legends Patch 13.12: Nerfs for Yuumi and Gragas Revealed

Riot Games’ Phroxzon has unveiled the list of champions set to receive nerfs in the upcoming League of Legends Patch 13.12. Among the nine champions getting targeted nerfs are Yuumi and Gragas.

Phroxzon’s tweet on June 6 stated that Rell’s post-rework adjustment and a specific hit to Zeri will also be introduced to the game.

In a recent tweet, Phroxzon provided additional context for the patch changes. The adjustments include Kaisa AD/lv to hit Q evolve on more first items, Ryze E speed being adjusted to fix some cases where E->meleeQ doesn’t spread, Gragas P CD aiming to hit some early sustain for even/losing matchups, and more Milio damage tradeoffs in exchange for survivability+range.

Gragas’ passive heal from Happy Hour will remain the same at 6.5 percent of his maximum health but will occur less frequently, with the cooldown increasing from eight to 12 seconds. Phroxzon explained that this change aims to balance Gragas in the top lane matchup. However, its impact on jungle Gragas builds, especially considering the minor nerf to red buff, remains to be seen.

Yuumi has once again received a nerf, making it the sixth this season alone. The Zoomies (E) ability will no longer grant a 35 percent attack speed buff at all levels. Instead, it will now grant 25 percent at level one and scale back to its original value as the ability is leveled up.

Yuumi’s Ultimate, Final Chapter (R), will also undergo changes, with an adjustment to the heal and overshield values at all levels, resulting in around a 20 percent nerf.

Rell’s adjustments come after some slightly overpowered abilities and values introduced with Patch 13.11. Zeri is also getting substantial nerfs after dominating the majority of season 13.

Lulu and Milio will have their starting armor values slightly reduced. Kha’Zix’s starting AD will drop by five percent to 60. Lulu will also see significant early-game changes to her passive damage and Help, Pix! (E) shield value. Milio’s passive on-hit damage will no longer scale up and will remain at 15 percent bonus AD at all levels.

K’Sante will not receive any early-game stat adjustments, but the cooldown for his Footwork (E) ability will increase by 1.5 seconds at all levels. Kog’Maw will deal slightly less damage with Bio-Arcane Barrage (W), providing 0.5 percent less HP damage at each level.

The full League Patch 13.12 is scheduled to go live on June 14.
