League of Legends’ Character Sett features a bold JoJo nod

Riot Games Japan Hires Famous Voice Actor for League of Legends’ New Champion

Riot Games Japan is known for recruiting high-profile voice actors to bring their League of Legends champions to life, and their latest addition, Sett, is no exception.

Sett, the upcoming champion, will be voiced by Takehito Koyasu, renowned for his portrayal of the egotistic Dio in the popular anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

If you’re excited to hear Sett’s Japanese voice, you can listen to it here and channel your inner Dio.

In addition to Takehito Koyasu, other notable voices in League include Masako Nozawa, known for voicing Goku in Dragon Ball, who lends her talents to Wukong’s voice, and Ikue Otani, the voice behind Pikachu from Pokémon and Chopper from One Piece, who gives life to the Yordle Teemo.

With Koyasu joining the roster of famous voices in League, it’s only a matter of time before the community creates JoJo memes inspired by Sett. It’s inevitable.
