League of Legends Bug Enables Rammus to Travel From Top to Bottom Lane in Just 6 Seconds

A New Bug Allows Rammus to Cross Summoner’s Rift in Under Six Seconds

In the recent Patch 11.8 update of League of Legends, Rammus underwent some changes to his abilities, specifically Powerball (Q) and Soaring Slam (R). However, these changes unintentionally introduced a significant bug that allows Rammus to travel incredibly long distances by combining a few other abilities.

The Bug

Rammus players have discovered that by activating Predator and Ghost before using Powerball, they can reach movement speeds between 2,400 and 3,500 (depending on their build) and traverse the entire Summoner’s Rift throughout the ability’s duration.

How to Replicate the Bug

To replicate this bug, players need to activate Predator, followed by Ghost, and finally, Powerball. It’s crucial to activate Predator first, as it cancels Rammus’ Powerball channel, preventing him from rolling. Since Powerball scales with Rammus’ current movement speed, the additional bonuses from Predator and Ghost enhance its effectiveness.

The Issue

While the combination of Ghost and Predator requires a dedicated focus on movement speed, the ability to cross the map in just six seconds is most likely an oversight or a problem caused by a multiplication error in the ability chaining process. Riot Games has not provided any official comment on the bug, and Rammus has not been disabled on the live servers.

Conclusion

Players should be cautious of this bug until it is resolved. Stay tuned for updates from Riot Games regarding the status of this issue.
