What’s Happening with Liquid and the Rest of the LCS?
Let’s analyze the situation tier by tier:
Trust the Process: Immortals, 100 Thieves, Golden Guardians
Each team in this tier has its own reasons for being here. Golden Guardians are considered the worst team in the LCS based on their losses. 100 Thieves had a victory, but it wasn’t convincing. Immortals had a good week but still need to show more early-game prowess.
Hanging On: TSM, CLG, Evil Geniuses
TSM and CLG, despite their 0-2 start, still have reasons for optimism. TSM has a strong early game but needs to work on their late-game decision-making. CLG’s top-jungle combination struggled but is expected to bounce back. Evil Geniuses had the best week, but there are concerns about their loss to Dignitas.
Welcome Back: Dignitas, FlyQuest
Surprisingly, Dignitas and FlyQuest have proven doubters wrong with their strong performances in week one. They may face challenges in the future, but they have shown potential.
Changing the Guard: C9, Liquid
Team Liquid’s grip on the region is fading, partly due to their jungle acquisition not being available. On the other hand, Cloud9 is looking strong with their new roster. This could finally be their year to win an LCS trophy.
