LCK’s Legendary Bot Lane PraY Rejects All 2019 Offers, Potential Retirement Looms

PraY Declines Offers and Hints at Retirement

Legendary bot lane carry Jin “PraY” Jong-in has turned down all offers for the upcoming 2019 season, sparking rumors of a possible retirement, according to Korean esports site Korizon.

In his stream on Afreeca TV, PraY mentioned that he has rejected enticing offers from teams. He even expressed that he may have already closed his heart to the idea of playing. It appears that PraY would rather not play at all than play without his longtime partner-in-crime, Kang “GorillA” Beom-hyeon.

PraY’s emotions came into play as he regretfully revealed that he wished he had stopped playing when the fans still loved and supported him wholeheartedly. He expressed his remorse for leaving the scene now, when the fans are no longer as enthusiastic.

Fans pleaded with PraY during the stream’s chat, asking him to reconsider and reach out to the teams he turned down. However, PraY abruptly ended the stream by declaring that he was leaving, but there was a possibility of returning in the future.

While this announcement may not be an official retirement confirmation, it is evident that PraY will be taking a break from professional play.
