LCK Power Rankings: Week 2 of the 2022 Spring Split

After two weeks of play in the 2022 LCK regular season, the top teams are starting to emerge. However, it’s important to note that there’s still a lot of room for movement in the rankings, as many teams have yet to face each other.

The LCK is a competitive league, with several teams currently tied for sixth place. These teams have the opportunity to climb up the standings and prove themselves as contenders.

Here are our power rankings for the LCK after week two of the Spring Split:

Shifting beneath the sand: Kwangdong Freecs, Liiv Sandbox, Hanwha Life Esports

Three teams, Kwangdong Freecs, Liiv Sandbox, and Hanwha Life Esports, are struggling at the bottom of the standings. While they have a chance to make it to the playoffs, their early-season results suggest otherwise.

Unanswered questions: DRX, Fredit Brion

DRX and Fredit Brion have both had a rough start to the season with 1-3 records. While they have the potential to turn things around, their current performance doesn’t inspire confidence in their playoff chances.

Locked out—for now: Nongshim RedForce, DWG KIA, KT Rolster

The top two teams in the LCK, Gen.G and T1, are firmly holding their positions. Nongshim RedForce, DWG KIA, and KT Rolster are currently in the second tier of teams and will need to catch up if they want to contend for the top spots.

Race to perfection: Gen.G, T1

Gen.G and T1 are dominating the LCK with flawless records so far. They are not only the best teams in Korea, but they also rank among the top teams in the world. Their performance and player statistics reflect their dominance.

If T1 wants to maintain their perfect record, they will need to be cautious in upcoming matches against Nongshim and DWG KIA, who are close behind in the standings and power rankings.

The head-to-head match between Gen.G and T1 in week four will be crucial in determining the stronger team. For now, it’s too close to call.
