Latest Updates: League of Legends Arena Changes, Buffs, and Nerfs – Patch 13.16

The doors are closing soon on the League of Legends Arena playlist, but that hasn’t stopped Riot Games from making adjustments to the 2v2v2v2 game mode’s metagame. In the upcoming August update, Riot is introducing a substantial number of changes to champions, items, and augments.

What’s changing in League Arena in Patch 13.16?

The next League Arena patch includes a total of 21 champion changes, consisting of 18 buffs and three nerfs. Additionally, there are tweaks to 14 Augments and at least a dozen items.

Riot leans toward buffs over nerfs

When it comes to buffs, Riot is focusing on boosting popular champions who haven’t quite found their place in the Arena. Champions like Akali, Lee Sin, Xerath, and Ezreal are receiving buffs in Patch 13.16. On the other hand, Fiora, Warwick, and Cassiopeia are seeing nerfs.

More power for lagging Augments

Riot is also addressing the Augments in League Arena. Augments like Tormentor, Blunt Force, From Beginning to End, and Combo Master are receiving significant buffs to elevate their performance. However, most of the nerfed Augments are tied to damage, such as Tank It or Leave It, Ok Boomerang, and Spirit Link.

Stats the name of the game for item changes

In terms of items, there are buffs to 10 items and nerfs to five. Riot is particularly focusing on the underlying stats of these items, including maximum health, armor, magic resist, base damage, and haste.
