Latest League PBE Update Showcases Kayle Updates and Exciting LEC Playoff Login Screen

League of Legends: Kayle Receives Adjustments, New Login Screen and Summoner Icons Added

Today, the League of Legends Public Beta Environment (PBE) has received another update. This time, the focus is on making adjustments to the recently updated champion, Kayle, as well as introducing a fresh login screen and new summoner icons.

Kayle’s kit has undergone some changes once again. Riot Games’ senior champion designer, August Browning, explained the reasoning behind these adjustments on his Twitter account. According to him, the buffs to Kayle’s W (Celestial Blessing) and E (Starfire Spellblade) have caused her winrate to increase by 1-2% this patch. As a result, the developers are planning to make her more item dependent through nerfs in patch 8.7.

Specifically, Kayle will see reductions to her AD ratios. The movement speed gained from Celestial Blessing will also be slightly lowered, while her AP will receive a one percent increase. Furthermore, the mana cost of Starfire Spellblade will be a flat 60 at all ranks instead of scaling, and the bonus damage from the ability will be reduced.

On the client side, players will be greeted with a login screen inspired by the 2019 LEC playoffs. In addition, two new summoner icons will be available—the Season 2019 Split Two icon and the Bilgewater 2019 icon.

Stay tuned for more updates and changes to the League of Legends PBE.
