Latest hotfix for League of Legends introduces Yasuo buffs and nerfs to Kai’Sa and Banner of Command

Yasuo and Taliyah Receive Buffs in League of Legends Patch 8.11

In the latest balance update to Patch 8.11, everyone’s favorite swordsman from League of Legends, Yasuo, is getting a few buffs. According to the RiotAether on Twitter, Yasuo and Taliyah will be receiving buffs, while Kai’Sa, Ezreal, and Banner of Command will be nerfed.

Yasuo’s buffs

Yasuo’s base attack damage has been increased from 60 to 63, and the crit damage on his Q ability, Steel Tempest, is improving by 30 percent. Additionally, the combination of Brawler’s Gloves and Infinity Edge now properly grants 40 percent critical-strike chance to Yasuo. This change is aimed at compensating for the loss of crit chance on Infinity Edge, allowing Yasuo to utilize his crit-doubling passive by rushing a Zeal item.

Taliyah’s buffs

Taliyah, who recently received some major nerfs, will now get an increase in her damage to other champions. Her base attack damage has been increased from 56 to 58, and her E ability, Unraveled Earth, will deal more damage across all ranks.

The nerfs to Kai’Sa, Ezreal, and Banner of Command

On the other hand, many League players will be glad to hear about the nerfs to Kai’Sa, Ezreal, and Banner of Command. The empowered minion damage reduction from Banner of Command has been lowered from 70 to 40 percent. Kai’Sa’s plasma base on-hit damage, plasma per-stack damage, and plasma AP ratio were all lowered, while Ezreal received slight nerfs to his attack damage growth and the attack speed gained per stack from his passive.

These buffs to Yasuo and Taliyah will surely please their dedicated players, but it might not be as thrilling for mid laners who have to face them.
