KT Rolster’s Aiming Executes an Epic Baron Steal Using Jhin’s Ultimate Against Afreeca Freecs

KT Rolster’s Aiming Pulls off Epic Baron Steal in LCK Playoff Series

In the decisive LCK matchup between KT Rolster and Afreeca Freecs, AD carry Aiming shocked everyone with an incredible Baron steal in the third and final game.

In a nail-biting 45-minute game, both teams were evenly matched in kills, gold, and towers. As Afreeca attempted to secure the Baron, KT positioned themselves around the pit to contest the objective.

KT’s positioning wasn’t ideal for a proper fight, and their only hope of stealing the Baron was through a miracle blast plant and smite from Malrang, or a perfectly timed shot from Jhin’s ultimate.

As the Baron’s health continued to drop, Aiming activated Jhin’s Curtain Call, forcing three of Afreeca’s players to huddle at the back of the pit in an attempt to block the bullets. However, the final Jhin bullet managed to slip past every player and snatch the Baron away from Afreeca.

Nick “LS” De Cesare and Brendan Valdes were in disbelief at what they witnessed, bursting into fits of laughter. Afreeca’s collective failure resulted in them having to deal with both Baron and Infernal Soul on their opponents.

Afreeca Freecs, however, managed to secure the victory six minutes later, despite the intense battle that resulted in a total of 45 kills. They secured their spot in the 2020 LCK Summer Split playoffs and will compete in the first round on Wednesday, August 26.
