KT Rolster finalizes roster with Gango and UmTi onboard

KT Rolster Completes Roster with New Signings

KT Rolster has finalized its LCK roster with the recent additions of AD carry Byun “Gango” Se-hoon and former Jin Air Green Wings Jungler Eom “UmTi” Seong-hyeon. The team made this announcement earlier today, completing their lineup for the upcoming season.

Gango’s Journey to the LCK

Gango, who started his professional career in 2014 as Samsung White’s substitute AD carry, has played in China and Japan over the past four years. In 2018, he competed as Unsold Stuff Gaming’s AD carry in the LJL. Now, Gango is set to make his debut in the LCK seasonal split this Spring.

UmTi’s Transition to KT Rolster

UmTi, on the other hand, is an LCK veteran who has been with Jin Air for the past two years. This will be his first time playing for a team other than Jin Air since his professional debut in 2017.

New Pairing in KT Rolster

While UmTi will be KT’s reserve jungle, Gango will take on the role of the team’s starting AD carry. He will be joined by support player No “SnowFlower” Hoi-jong, who is also returning to Korea after playing abroad. SnowFlower previously played for Jin Air and later joined SuperMassive in Turkey’s TCL as their support player.

Together, Gango and SnowFlower were successful in the TCL, qualifying for the 2018 World Championship play-in stage. However, they were unable to secure a spot in the main stage, losing to G-Rex from the LMS in the second round.

KT Rolster’s Road to Redemption

KT Rolster, as the reigning champion of the 2019 LCK Spring Split, aims to defend their title. After defeating Griffin in the 2018 LCK Summer Split finals, KT qualified for the 2018 World Championship as Korea’s first seed. Unfortunately, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals by the tournament winners, Invictus Gaming.
