KT keeps playoff hopes alive with win against Nongshim RedForce in 2021 LCK Spring Split

KT Rolster Keeps Playoff Hopes Alive with Win Against Nongshim RedForce

KT Rolster has given themselves a shot at making it to the playoffs in the 2021 LCK Spring Split after a crucial victory over Nongshim RedForce. The two League of Legends teams now have the same record of 6-11 with just one series left in the regular season.

Playoff Dreams Hang in the Balance for KT Rolster

To secure a playoff spot ahead of Nongshim RedForce, KT Rolster will need to pull off a major upset when they face the league leaders and reigning world champions, DWG KIA, on March 27. Even though KT won their recent match, Nongshim RedForce has the advantage in terms of qualification. If KT loses to DWG, all Nongshim RedForce needs to do is defeat Fredit BRION on the same day to secure their playoff berth.

KT Rolster Finds Success with New Approach

Despite their struggles this season, KT Rolster had a strong showing in their latest series against Nongshim RedForce. They took charge in the pick and ban phase and outplayed their opponents. Standout performances from Oh “Noah” Hyeon-taek’s Ezreal in game two and Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon’s Gragas in game three led KT Rolster to a 2-1 victory.

The crucial match between KT Rolster and DWG KIA will take place on March 27 at 3am CT.
