K’Sante addresses bugfixes and implements cooldown reductions in LoL Patch 13.21 buffs

League of Legends Champion Buffs Coming in Patch 13.21

League of Legends developers have revealed the upcoming changes for Patch 13.21, including much-needed buffs for several champions. According to Riot Games’ lead gameplay designer for League, Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison, eight champions will receive buffs next week. These changes were posted on Twitter on Oct. 17.

Champions Receiving Buffs

The champions who will receive buffs currently rank low in the game, according to stats from u.gg. Tahm Kench is the highest-ranked champion in Patch 13.20, but with a 49.55% win rate, he is not exactly dominating the game.

Fans of Master Yi will be pleased to know that his E, Wuju Style, will receive a significant reduction in cooldown. This means that he will be able to deal bonus true damage more frequently. Despite having a low win rate of 47.98%, Master Yi remains one of the most popular champions in League.

Bel’Veth will also receive a significant cooldown reduction to her E, Royal Maelstrom. This is in response to the AD jungle buffs coming next week. The goal is to make her a bit tankier without encouraging players to focus more on her Q instead of her E.

K’Sante will see an increase in passive and ultimate damage, as well as an instant reset with his Q or E. Additionally, there will be bug fixes to resolve inconsistencies and glitches that were discovered after his recent mini-rework.

Other champions receiving buffs include Hecarim, who will get a bonus to AD growth and an extra second of duration to his Spirit of Dread. Morgana’s jungle build will be more viable thanks to a damage boost and monster modifier bonus on her ability Tormented Shadow. Varus will have an increase in ability slow duration, while LeBlanc will experience an increase in AP ratio. Lastly, Tahm Kench will deal more passive damage based on his total health and receive a cooldown refund bonus on his W, Abyssal Dive, making him more mobile.

Next Week’s Patch

Patch 13.21 will be released next week, but it will not be used in the Worlds tournament. The tournament will continue to use Patch 13.19 for the Swiss stage and playoffs.
