Kori threatened with losing his mother’s house

Meet Your Makers Mid Laner Drama

Just before the start of the League Championship Series, Meet Your Makers faced a setback when their mid laner, Marcin “Kori” Wolski, left the team. After a few matches with a stand-in player, Wolski returned and apologized for his behavior. However, the reasons for his sudden departure and return have now been revealed.

Payment Issues

It was discovered that Wolski had not been paid for several months of his time playing for Supa Hot Crew in the previous season. Meet Your Makers denied any responsibility for the payments, stating that they were the responsibility of AK3 GmbH and their CEO Sascha Ackermann, who owned Supa Hot Crew at the time. However, several Meet Your Makers staff members were also employed by AK3, which created a connection between the two organizations.

Unhappy in the Gaming House

Wolski expressed concerns about facing similar payment issues with Meet Your Makers in the future. Additionally, he stated that he was no longer enjoying his time in the gaming house and wanted to leave.

Recorded Phone Call

When Wolski informed the organization’s manager that he no longer wanted to play, the manager became irate and attempted to intimidate Wolski in a phone call. Rotterdam can be heard making threatening statements and hitting objects while arguing with Wolski. The recording of the call was later shared with the public.

Repercussions and Resolutions

After the phone call incident, Wolski emailed Riot’s League Operations Manager to outline his concerns. However, Meet Your Makers management contacted Riot Games and Wolski was prevented from playing for any other team for the duration of his contract. With no other choice, he had to return to Meet Your Makers. A Skype log of a conversation confirmed that the organization would have prevented him from playing in any official capacity while under contract.

These revelations raise questions about whether Riot will intervene with sanctions against Meet Your Makers.
