Kori teams up with Vortex in the Challenger side

Former MeetYourMakers Player “Kori” Joins League Challenger Series Team

A member of the League Challenger Series, Vortex, has announced the addition of former MeetYourMakers mid laner Marcin “Kori” Wolski. Wolski will join the team’s jungler, Tinh Tri “K0u” Lam, who recently made his debut for Vortex.

Struggles for Vortex

Vortex currently holds the last place in the North American Challenger Series without a single victory. They were defeated 0-2 by Team Imagine, Cloud9 Tempest, and Team Coast in their recent matches.

Change of Plans for Kori and K0u

Kori and K0u had initially planned to enter the North American Challenger Series together under the organization DT Esports. However, their plans fell through when Riot Games ruled that Team Fusion, the team they were associated with, could not have control over the vacant spot due to losing most of their roster.

An Opportunity for Wolski

Vortex’s current midlaner, Aaron “Bischu” Kim, has struggled to perform, with the lowest KDA among all midlaners. Wolski was added to the roster before the deadline and is already settled in the gaming house shared with Team Coast. He may make his debut for Vortex when they face Winterfox this week.

Wolski’s competitive play has been on hold since his team, MeetYourMakers, was relegated from the League Championship Series. He faced various challenges within the team, including a dispute about missing payments. Despite his strong finish to the season, Wolski left the team after the split.
