Korea’s Finest to Compete Against Top LCS Teams at IEM Katowice

Exciting International League of Legends Tournament Coming Soon

If you’re a fan of League of Legends, get ready for some thrilling international competition!

The highly anticipated Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) World Championship is set to take place in Katowice, Poland from Mar. 12-15. The tournament will bring together the best teams in the game to compete for a prize pool worth around $183,000.

Invitations to Top Teams

The four teams who emerged as champions in the last four IEM events have received invites to the tournament. These teams include Team WE, Cloud9, Gambit Gaming, and Yoe Flash Wolves.

Additionally, the teams leading the standings in three out of the four major leagues around the world will also receive invites. The top teams from the NA League Championship Series (LCS), EU LCS, and the Korean Champions league will have the opportunity to compete at IEM Katowice.

Top Teams Confirmed

The current leader in the Korean league, GE Tigers, has already secured their invite and will be participating in the tournament.

In the NA LCS, Counter Logic Gaming and Team SoloMid are currently tied for first place and are the favorites to earn a spot. However, there are still two weeks of play before the final decision is made.

In the EU LCS, SK Gaming is currently undefeated, but Fnatic and Elements are still in contention to advance over the next two weeks.
