Kobbe shares his views on team dynamics: “Relying on a single carry is quite amusing to me”

Splyce Dominates Europe LCS and Sets Eyes on World Championship

Splyce, one of the top teams in Europe’s League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), has made a surprising comeback this split. After narrowly avoiding relegation last split, Splyce has secured the number two seed in the playoffs. ADC Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup believes that this is just the beginning.

During practice, Kobbe knew that his team had the potential to make it to the playoffs. Although the team had a rough start, they quickly found their rhythm and started winning consistently.

A new addition to the team, rookie support Michael “Mikyx” Mehle, has made a significant impact. Despite his success, Kobbe emphasizes that the entire team has stepped up, not just the newcomer.

Martin “Wunderwear” Hansen has also improved his performance during the summer split. He went from being criticized in the spring split to becoming a valuable member of the team.

The change in LCS format to best-of-two matches does not necessarily contribute to Splyce’s success. They have been dominating their opponents with clean 2-0 victories.

In the upcoming European Playoffs, Splyce is confident in their ability to win against any team they face. Their goal is to secure a spot at the World Championship.

If they don’t qualify through points, they will aim to win the playoffs or go through the gauntlet. Although it won’t be easy, Splyce is inspired by Cloud9’s miracle run in the gauntlet last year.

For now, Splyce is focused on performing well in the playoffs. They believe they have a high skill ceiling and potential for improvement.

Splyce will start their Playoff campaign on Aug. 20, and they may face tough competition from Giants and Fnatic. Nonetheless, they are determined to make a push for a spot at the World Championship.
