Kobbe criticizes poor play in NA solo queue after a disappointing performance by his support

TSM’s new AD carry expresses frustration with North American solo queue

Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup, the new AD carry for TSM, voiced his frustration with the state of North American solo queue in a recent incident on the League of Legends server. During a game, Kobbe’s support Alistar made a crucial mistake, resulting in the enemy Miss Fortune securing a kill.

Kobbe didn’t hold back in his criticism, calling the situation “disgusting” and “straight-up griefing.” He expressed his disappointment, stating, “It’s crazy how bad these players are. What a terrible server, man.”

Despite his negative experience, Kobbe remains hopeful that things will improve, acknowledging that he is currently at Diamond II rank.

The reputation of North American solo queue

North American solo queue has gained a reputation for its poor quality, with professional players often choosing to avoid it entirely. In contrast, players on the South Korea and Europe-West servers view solo queue as a valuable training ground to enhance their skills and explore new champions.

The North American solo queue is seen as less competitive and not taken as seriously. The gaming culture centered around streaming and the relatively small player population might be factors contributing to this perception.

Overcoming the challenges for success

Regardless, Kobbe understands the need to persevere and continue striving for success in the LCS. TSM holds a significant position in the history of League, and Kobbe is aware of the expectations placed upon him as their new AD carry.

The LCS season begins on Saturday, Jan. 25, with TSM’s first game against Immortals scheduled for Sunday.
