KINGZONE DragonX Wins Sixth Consecutive LCK Match by Defeating Jin Air Green Wings

KINGZONE DragonX Extends Winning Streak to 14 in LCK

KINGZONE DragonX continues to dominate in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) with a 2-0 victory over Jin Air Green Wings. This match, however, turned out to be one of the strangest yet.

The matchup between Jin Air, the slowest team in the league, and KINGZONE, Korea’s fastest team, sparked curiosity on how the game would unfold. Would KINGZONE win quickly, or could Jin Air force them to a late game? It turns out, the latter was true.

In game one, which lasted almost 50 minutes, both teams opted for a passive playstyle, with a focus on macro play. KINGZONE managed to outplay Jin Air with their strategic moves, securing a Baron, Elder Drake, and an inhibitor. However, Jin Air made a late comeback with Jin-seong’s Caitlyn, almost ending KINGZONE’s win streak in the process.

Unfortunately for Jin Air, KINGZONE ace them and barely saved their Nexus from destruction. In game two, Jin Air fell further behind in objectives, allowing KINGZONE to freely take whatever they wanted. Without a hyper carry like Caitlyn, Jin Air had no answer to KINGZONE’s powerful champions.

Time off for Jin Air and KINGZONE

After their final match of the week, Jin Air and KINGZONE will have some time off as the LCK takes a break for the Korean Lunar New Year. The competition will resume on Feb. 11.
