Keria renews contract with T1 support for another year

T1 Extends Contract of League of Legends Support Player Keria

Popular esports organization T1 has announced that they have extended the contract of their League of Legends support player Ryu “Keria” Min-seok for another year. The news was revealed on T1’s official social media platforms .

Keria, who is only 19 years old, is widely recognized as one of the top support players in South Korea, and perhaps even in the world.

During the 2022 LCK Spring Split, Keria played a crucial role in T1’s exceptional performance, making it the first team in the competition’s history to achieve a “perfect split.” Together with AD carry Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong, they set a new record for the most kills and assists in the regular season. Despite playing alongside the legendary mid laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, Keria was named the MVP of the 2022 Spring Split.

T1’s current roster is highly regarded by fans and experts as a formidable lineup capable of winning trophies. After their domestic success this year, they are now setting their sights on the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational, which will commence on May 10 in front of a home crowd in Busan, South Korea.

Keria’s one-year contract extension means that his contract will run until the end of 2023. Among the starting players on the team, Faker and Choi “Zeus” Woo-je are the only ones whose contracts expire by the end of 2022, according to Leaguepedia.
