Jensen departs Cloud9 for Team Liquid

NA LCS Star Nicolaj Jensen Leaves Cloud9 to Join Team Liquid

Nicolaj Jensen, a star mid laner in the NA LCS, has announced his departure from Cloud9 to join Team Liquid, as confirmed by Cloud9’s official announcement. This move comes as Jensen aims to achieve his goal of becoming the very best version of himself.

A New Journey with Team Liquid

In Cloud9’s announcement, Jensen expressed his appreciation for the organization and its owner, Jack. Despite parting ways in the LCS, Jensen emphasized the everlasting bond they share as a family.

A Fond Farewell from Cloud9

Cloud9 owner Jack Etienne praised Jensen’s contributions and expressed gratitude for their time together. Etienne acknowledged that Jensen will always have a place in their hearts, even though his departure will leave a void in the team.

Jensen’s Impact on Cloud9

Formerly known as Incarnati0n, Jensen joined Cloud9 in 2015 after his competitive ban was lifted. Over the next three years, he established himself as a dominant presence on the team, rivaling TSM’s Bjergsen for the title of the NA LCS’ top mid laner.

With the approval of top laner Impact’s NA residency, Team Liquid will be able to include Jensen in their roster instead of Pobelter, as confirmed by NA LCS commissioner Chris Greeley. The future of Pobelter within Team Liquid or with another team remains unknown at this time.
