Jankos Teases Future Plans Following Departure from G2

The end of an era for Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski

After five successful years with G2 Esports, Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski is leaving the team. Throughout his time with G2, Jankos achieved great success, including winning the MSI champion title, multiple MVP titles, and a few LEC titles. As he receives offers from various teams, Jankos has revealed his plans for the future.

Jankos likely staying in Europe

During a recent stream, a fan asked Jankos if he will stay in the LEC or potentially join the new Gen.G team. Jankos replied, stating that he will probably stay in the European league.

Unfortunately, Jankos did not disclose any specific teams he is currently in talks with, leaving fans eager to know which team he will join in the upcoming season.

A familiar region with competitive drive

Jankos expressed his desire to stay in Europe because he believes that North America is not competitive enough for him, although he said this in a joking manner. He wants to compete at the highest level possible, and Europe provides him with a sense of familiarity and a region full of talented players eager to prove themselves.

However, Jankos acknowledged that finding his ideal team might not be so simple due to the financial obstacles. He mentioned that his contract is expensive, and securing a decent salary and buyout from G2 will pose challenges.

An exciting future for Jankos

Given Jankos’ consistent performance as one of the best European junglers, he will likely have plenty of offers from teams. It will be interesting to see which team will benefit from Jankos’ talent and sense of humor as he continues his professional jungling career.
