Jankos Reveals New Teammates and Transition to Heretics

Heretics’ New Jungler Jankos Shares Insights on Team Dynamics

Jankos, Heretics’ new jungler, recently provided some updates on how the early period with his teammates has been progressing. According to Jankos, the LEC team officially began practicing together a few days ago and will soon start scrimming with other teams in preparation for the upcoming winter season of the League of Legends EMEA Championship, set to take place in January.

The Heretics roster is a unique mix of players. Jankos, a longtime LEC veteran, has joined the team as the cornerstone in the jungle after spending five seasons with G2 Esports. The organization also acquired support player Mersa, who previously played for Misfits Gaming. AD carry Jackspektra will be making his LEC debut, while the team has brought in two imports for the solo lanes: veteran Japanese top laner Evi and Korean mid laner Ruby.

Despite being a completely new team, Jankos acknowledged that there have been some growing pains. He mentioned that Evi, although capable of communicating in English, is still working on gaining confidence and improving his language skills. However, Jankos believes that Evi is a fast learner. Jankos also shared his thoughts about his new teammates, describing them as very nice individuals, albeit slightly shy. He noted that Mersa is the most reserved outside of the game, while Ruby is more talkative compared to other Korean imports he has encountered. According to Jankos, everyone on the team is friendly and enjoys spending time together.

While it’s still early in the process, it seems that Heretics are well on their way to building strong team camaraderie, which will be crucial for their performance in the upcoming LEC Winter Split.
