Jankos receives an unusual request during Worlds 2022

Bai “369” Jia-Hao Challenges Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski at League of Legends Worlds 2022

Bai “369” Jia-Hao, the top laner for JD Gaming, and Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, the jungler for G2 Esports, had an interesting interaction during the 2022 League of Legends World Championship.

An Unexpected Duel

During the match between G2 Esports and JD Gaming in the second week of Group B, the Chinese top laner challenged the Polish jungler to a one-on-one battle. Despite G2’s dire situation and the game being all but lost, Jankos agreed to the challenge. However, things didn’t go according to plan.

A Respected Showdown

Both players agreed to the duel in the all chat. Surprisingly, even 369’s teammates temporarily held off attacking G2’s Nexus turrets and the objective itself, allowing 369 and Jankos to have their standoff.

An Unequal Match

With a four-level difference, it’s no wonder that 369 had the upper hand and quickly depleted Jankos’ health bar. When Jankos pleaded for 369 to stop and “be a nice boy,” 369 ignored his request and finished him off. Jankos replied with “Wow, rude” before his Nexus was taken down.

G2’s journey at Worlds 2022 came to an end after that game. The European team finished with a 1-5 record in their group and had to head home. On the other hand, JDG and DWG KIA advanced to the next stage of the tournament.

Today, the quarterfinals of Worlds 2022 continue with the matchup between JDG and Rogue at 4pm CT.
