Jankos elaborates on potential clash between Rekkles and Wunder in future League team

Rekkles and Wunder Might Reunite in Fnatic for Season 13

The upcoming season 13 of the League of Legends esports might see Martin “Wunder” Nordahl Hansen and Martin “Rekkles” Larsson playing together under the Fnatic banner. Previously, these two players were a part of the main G2 Esports team in 2021, but they couldn’t find success during the regular split. However, Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, another player from G2, believes that Rekkles and Wunder might not be able to work well together in the same team again.

Martin “Jankos” Jankowski, who will become a free agent on Nov. 21, is currently in South Korea. He is climbing the solo queue and trying to show that he’s more than just a washed-up veteran. Jankos has been closely following the roster changes happening in Europe and North America. When he heard about the possibility of Rekkles and Wunder reuniting, he recalled their time in G2 and explained why it might not be a successful partnership.

“Both of them were good at adapting to the team, but neither of them really wanted to play a carry role… Maybe the support will change things,” Jankos said.

Although Jankos has valuable insight, it’s possible that both Rekkles and Wunder have evolved since their time together. They might be capable of taking on the responsibility of a carry role. Additionally, Fnatic now has Iván “Razork” Martín Díaz and Marek “Humanoid” Brázda on their team, who are skilled in carrying the game.

There’s a possibility that Rekkles and Wunder might reunite in the upcoming season of the League of Legends esports. Jankos, who played with them in G2, has doubts about their compatibility. However, both players might have grown since then and Fnatic has other capable players to share the load of carrying the game.
