Naafiri: The Highly-Awaited Champion for League of Legends
League of Legends players are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Naafiri, the latest addition to the champion roster. Prior to joining the live servers, new champions are tested on the PBE (Public Beta Environment) servers. This testing phase not only ensures technical soundness, but also determines the champion’s fun factor and the need for balance adjustments.
Naafiri has been generating a lot of excitement among players since her initial teaser on August 12, 2022. What makes her release even more thrilling is that she will be the first Darkin assassin to make her debut in over six years.
Can Naafiri Be Tested on the League of Legends PBE?
Naafiri, the next Darkin assassin, has been introduced to the League of Legends PBE server on June 27. Players with access to the PBE can already test her out and get a feel for her playstyle. Additionally, there are various videos available on YouTube that showcase her abilities on the Rift. However, it’s important to note that she is not yet available on the live servers.
Before her official release, Naafiri may undergo tweaks, bug fixes, and other adjustments to ensure balance and gameplay satisfaction. Fans will have to wait until she hits the live servers, which is expected to coincide with Patch 13.14 scheduled for July 19, following League of Legends’ regular release schedule.
