Is Alex Ich’s Career Coming to an End?

Russian Legend Alex Ich to Skip Expansion Tournament, Becomes Free Agent

In the game of League of Legends off-season shuffle, even the world’s best players are not safe.

Alexey “Alex Ich” Ichetovkin, a renowned Russian player, has had a rollercoaster ride in the past week. From being a promising entry in the Expansion Tournament to becoming a frustrated free agent, Alex Ich has finally announced this morning that he intends to skip the Expansion Tournament altogether.

The upcoming Expansion Tournament by Riot Games offers a golden opportunity for former and aspiring pros to secure spots on new teams in the European and North American regions. Instead of having to defeat experienced professional teams, the current hopefuls only need to beat other challengers, many of whom are inexperienced in top-level play.

For Alex Ich, the Expansion Tournament was supposed to be a gateway to re-establishing his career. After a successful stint with Gambit Gaming, his new team, Ninjas in Pyjamas, proved to be unsuccessful in reaching the professional scene. Ichetovkin recently left Ninjas in Pyjamas due to organizational issues and now plans to focus on honing his skills and potentially re-enter the free agent market in the future.

Unfortunately, this announcement adds to a series of disappointing ventures for Alex Ich. While he continues to improve his skills, fans can only speculate on what lies ahead for this once-promising player.
