INCREDIBLE penta kill by LOUD in upset victory at LoL Worlds 2023’s opening game

Worlds 2023: LOUD Makes a Splash with First Penta Kill

The Worlds 2023 tournament kicked off on Oct. 10 with an exciting matchup between LOUD and GAM Esports. In a surprising turn of events, LOUD not only pulled off an upset but also secured the first penta kill of the tournament.

In the first game of their 2-0 victory over GAM Esports, LOUD’s AD Carry Route played as Kai’Sa. With an impressive KDA of 11/0/5, Route managed to score a penta kill by the end of the match. This remarkable achievement occurred when him and his teammates dove into the enemy fountain.

LOUD’s victory in the first game was just seconds away. The CBLOL representatives effectively countered GAM Esports’ early aggression and took control of the game around the 20-minute mark. Route played a crucial role in their success. In a final teamfight, he quickly secured a quadra kill, and his teammates finished off the remaining enemy player, cementing Route as the first player to achieve a penta kill at Worlds 2023.

LOUD continued their dominance in the second game. Although it was a close match for most of the time, Route and his team managed to come out on top in crucial teamfights, resulting in a swift victory in the best-of-three series.

LOUD Advances to Group A’s Upper Bracket

Following their victory, LOUD moved to Group A’s upper bracket, while GAM Esports dropped to the lower bracket. LOUD’s next opponents will be PSG Talon, who also secured a 2-0 victory against Movistar R7 in the opening match of the day.

Upcoming Matches: Team BDS Enters the Fray
