Huhi Joins 100 Thieves, Ryu Transitions to Assistant Coach

100 Thieves Adds Former CLG Mid Laner Huhi to Roster for 2019 Season

100 Thieves has kicked off its 2018 offseason with the exciting addition of Choi “Huhi” Jae-hyun, the former mid laner for CLG. In a video announcement by 100 Thieves, Huhi expressed his confidence in the team and his hope to reach his peak performance once again. Huhi’s arrival marks a fresh start for both him and CLG, after a disappointing year for the team.

Ryu Moves to Assistant Coaching Position

With the inclusion of Huhi, 100 Thieves revealed that Ryu Sang-wook will be transitioning to an assistant coaching position. Ryu, a veteran player since 2012, has not confirmed whether he will continue playing as a mid laner or retire from professional play.

Import Slot Still Available

Huhi has recently obtained his Green Card, officially recognizing him as a North American resident. In addition to the re-signing of top laner Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho, 100 Thieves still has one import slot available for potential roster changes.

Aphromoo and Huhi Reunited

Huhi’s arrival at 100 Thieves means a reunion with former CLG teammate Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black, who joined the team earlier this year. During their time on CLG, Huhi and Aphromoo achieved great success, winning two NA LCS titles and reaching the finals of the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational.

100 Thieves has not yet announced any changes to its jungle and AD carry positions.
