Riot’s Newest Champion: Seraphine
Riot Games has released a new champion in their popular game, League of Legends. Seraphine, a member of the virtual music group K/DA, is ready to take on the competition. However, players will need to unlock different forms of Seraphine’s Ultimate skin to fully experience her star potential.
Unlocking Seraphine’s Different Forms
To transform Seraphine into her K/DA ALL OUT form, players must purchase her Ultimate skin from the League store. The skin costs 3,250 RP, similar to other Ultimate skins.
But that’s not all.
Riot has also created a series of in-game quests that allow players to immerse themselves in Seraphine’s journey to stardom. By completing these quests, players can unlock two additional forms of the skin.
Discovering Seraphine’s Musical Journey
Each form of Seraphine’s skin has a unique look, sound, and a song associated with it. The base form, Indie Seraphine, comes with acoustic aesthetics and plays the famous song “POP/STARS.” To unlock the Rising Star form, players must complete an introductory quest as well as the Write Your Lyrics and Record Your Song missions.
Earning Points to Progress
Throughout Seraphine’s quest line, players must earn points to advance. These points are cumulative, but players can only earn a maximum of 20 points per game when playing as Seraphine. If they choose another champion, they can only earn 10 points per game while completing the quests.
Now, let’s take a look at the quests and the criteria for earning points:
Quest 1: Write Your Lyrics
As Seraphine:
- Earn 20,000 gold: +2 points
- Earn 18,000 gold: +4 points
- Earn 14,000 gold: +4 points
- Earn 10,000 gold: +4 points
- Earn 6,000 gold: +4 points
- Earn 2,000 gold: +2 points
As a champion other than Seraphine:
- Earn 20,000 gold: +1 point
- Earn 18,000 gold: +2 points
- Earn 14,000 gold: +2 points
- Earn 10,000 gold: +2 points
- Earn 6,000 gold: +2 points
- Earn 2,000 gold: +1 point
Quest 2: Record Your Song
As Seraphine:
- Earn 10 takedowns: +2 points
- Earn 9 takedowns: +4 points
- Earn 7 takedowns: +4 points
- Earn 5 takedowns: +4 points
- Earn 3 takedowns: +4 points
- Earn 1 takedown: +2 points
As a champion other than Seraphine:
- Earn 10 takedowns: +1 point
- Earn 9 takedowns: +2 points
- Earn 7 takedowns: +2 points
- Earn 5 takedowns: +2 points
- Earn 3 takedowns: +2 points
- Earn 1 takedown: +1 point
After completing these quests, players can earn an emote by completing the Excite Your Fans quest. This will unlock Seraphine’s Superstar form. Both of these quests require players to earn an additional 45 points each.
Quest 3: Excite Your Fans
As Seraphine:
- Deal 25,000 magic damage to champions: +2 points
- Deal 22,500 magic damage to champions: +4 points
- Deal 17,500 magic damage to champions: +4 points
- Deal 12,500 magic damage to champions: +4 points
- Deal 7,500 magic damage to champions: +4 points
- Deal 2,500 magic damage to champions: +2 points
As a champion other than Seraphine:
- Deal 25,000 magic damage to champions: +1 point
- Deal 22,500 magic damage to champions: +2 points
- Deal 17,500 magic damage to champions: +2 points
- Deal 12,500 magic damage to champions: +2 points
- Deal 7,500 magic damage to champions: +2 points
- Deal 2,500 magic damage to champions: +1 point
Quest 4: Perform Live
As Seraphine:
- Destroy 9 turrets: +2 points
- Destroy 8 turrets: +4 points
- Destroy 6 turrets: +4 points
- Destroy 4 turrets: +4 points
- Destroy 2 turrets: +4 points
- Destroy 1 turret: +2 points
As a champion other than Seraphine:
- Destroy 9 turrets: +1 point
- Destroy 8 turrets: +2 points
- Destroy 6 turrets: +2 points
- Destroy 4 turrets: +2 points
- Destroy 2 turrets: +2 points
- Destroy 1 turret: +1 point
To complete the questline and earn a Seraphine border and Superstar Icon, players will need to win a few games. Winning as Seraphine will earn them 6 points, while winning as a champion other than Seraphine will earn them 3 points.
